The little town of Jurançon is 3 kms away from Clos Mirabel. There are numerous local bakers, butchers, a greengrocer, a supermarket, weekly market, churches, chemists, 2 doctors’ surgeries and a dentist. There are 2 cafes and 2 restaurants.

The much larger city of Pau is just a few minutes drive, it is ideal for shopping, eating out and visiting historic sites.

Go on a Train ride through the Pyrénées or Vist the local caves at Béthérram which includes a boat trip and train ride! In Pau you can have fun at the local Olympic sized pool with indoor and outdoor facilities. There is lots of fun to be had at lake Baudreix including Water skiing, water slides and beach.
