Things to do all year round
The lit­tle town of Ju­rançon is 3 kms away from Clos Mira­bel. There are nu­mer­ous lo­cal bak­ers, butch­ers, a green­gro­cer, a su­per­mar­ket, week­ly mar­ket, church­es, chemists, 2 doc­tors’ surg­eries and a den­tist. There are 2 cafes and 2 res­tau­rants.

The much larg­er ci­ty of Pau is just a few min­utes drive, it is ide­al for shop­ping, eat­ing out and vis­it­ing his­toric sites.

Fam­i­ly Favou­rites
Go on a Train ride through the Pyrénées or Vist the lo­cal caves at Béthér­ram which in­cludes a boat trip and train ride! In Pau you can have fun at the lo­cal Olympic sized pool with in­door and out­door fa­cil­i­ties. If you are look­ing for a fam­i­ly ad­ven­ture why not try Tree top climb­ing and rope slides – suit­able for all ages. There is lots of fun to be had at lake Bau­dreix in­clud­ing Wa­ter ski­ing, wa­ter slides and beach.

Wine Tast­ing and Vis­its to Vine­yards
Ju­rançon is a cele­brat­ed wine pro­duc­ing re­gion spe­cial­is­ing in dry and sweet white wine. Clos Mira­bel is per­fect­ly lo­cat­ed for vis­its to lo­cal vine­yards and wine tast­ing. Lo­cal places to vis­it in­clude :
