New Year's Greetings and Launch of Art Ateliers in 2022

All of us here at Clos Mirabel wish you health, happiness, and renewed optimism for 2022

Despite the difficulties of the past two years, we have continued to welcome our ‘intrepid travellers’ from near and far, to host meetings and seminars and celebrate a number of family reunions and small weddings.

We have taken the opportunity to further develop our Art Ateliers encompassing Painting Holidays and Masterclasses which we hope will provide you with an extraordinary experience.

As of March 2022, renowned artists from around the world will be joining us to lead unique and inspiring Artistic Retreats from realistic landscape painting to cutting-edge contemporary art forms.

We are very excited to share our programme of Painting Holidays and Masterclasses with you and we feel privileged to be able to enjoy the presence of all these exceptional individuals.

We invite you to take this opportunity to come together to join with a small group (maximum 12 participants), to enhance both your artistic expression and technique and to enjoy the most remarkable setting that makes the Clos Mirabel Estate so special.

Some dates are yet to be confirmed, we will keep you updated as and when more courses go live.

As we are writing these lines from the south-facing terrace, the sun is radiating powerfully over the hills of Jurançon illuminating the entire chain of the Pyrénées Atlantiques. Imagine for a moment that you are sitting in the sun with a glass of dry white Jurançon wine, looking out towards an almost untouched backdrop of vineyards, woods and pastures. In the distance, the natural decor of impressive mountain summits reign…currently snow-capped in their winter glory.

Rachel’s exceptional food, accompanied by fine wines, will add significantly to the quality of your overall experience.

Above all, you will be able to discover a secret part of France that is still largely preserved with clean mountain air, dark night skies lit with stars and moonlight, and no noise pollution.
